NXT UK premiered globally on the WWE Network in October 2018, and airs weekly every Wednesday at 8pm UK time. The first NXT UK Takeover (a special event, which airs live on WWE Network and is comparable to a traditional Pay Per View event) took place in January 2019 and a second is due to take place this August here at the Arena.

80% of WWE’s Superstars on the main roster (RAW & Smackdown Live) have come through NXT. NXT scouts travel the world looking for the best and most promising talent, both from the wrestling world and beyond; NXT UK is now established as a sister brand to NXT. NXT UK features a diverse group of aspiring and inspiring talent that are working to perfect in-ring skills and develop compelling characters with one collective aim - to revolutionize the industry. NXT UK compliments NXT, Raw and SmackDown and serves WWE's most passionate fan base with its unique vibe, energy and social following. There has never been more interest in UK wrestling; the UK independent scene is booming, and NXT UK is the premium brand and rightly seen as the pinnacle of UK wrestling with a loyal, vocal and rapidly growing fanbase.

More about some of the talent

Toni Storm
NXT UK Superstar Toni Storm is coming to rock NXT UK. No stranger to the ring, Storm has a style and swagger clearly inspired by the ’80s Los Angeles metal scene, but her ring game is unmistakably ’90s Japan. Her mix of Japanese strong style, British technical grappling and the odd bit of high-flying has taken her to championship heights in promotions across the world.  The Lightning Down Under has impressed the WWE Universe with her performances in the first two installments of the Mae Young Classic – including an emphatic victory over Io Shirai in the finals of the 2018 edition – and in a title bout against NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler.  As one of the favorites of NXT UK, Storm added to her list of accolades when she overcame Rhea Ripley to capture the NXT UK Women’s Championship at the history-making NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.

WALTER, already one of Europe’s most destructive heavyweights, is now also one of the most dangerous threats to the NXT UK locker room.  The Austrian bruiser made his surprise debut at the end of the historic first-ever NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event, laying out Gallus’ Joe Coffey with a big boot and coming nose-to-nose with WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne. His reign of destruction has not slowed down since.  Ushered to the ring as Dvořák’s powerful “Symphony No. 9” echoes through the arena, The Austrian Anomaly immediately sends shock waves throughout the NXT UK Universe, and for good reason.

Tyler Bate
The first-ever United Kingdom Champion has made his way to NXT UK, ready to take his already prestigious career to the next level against to top Superstars from the UK and Ireland. Translation, the NXT UK locker room should definitely be concerned.  With experience in promotions like Fight Club Pro, PROGRESS and Chikara, Tyler Bate, who hails from Dudley, England, spent his formative years inside the ring inspired by one of the more eclectic groups you’ll ever hear - Johnny Saint, Steve Grey and The Big Red Monster, Kane.  Bate honed his craft while earning his daily quid as a forklift operator to pay the bills. A technically sound wrestler who prefers things fair but isn’t afraid to get down and dirty, Textbook Tyler fought his way through four opponents in the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017 — including the vicious Pete Dunne in the Finals — to become the first WWE United Kingdom Champion at age 19. And if he made history as a teenager, imagine what the future holds for this gifted upstart.  Alongside Moustache Mountain partner Trent Seven, Bate emerged on the scene in NXT UK to made it clear that he and The Don are ready to take on the best tag teams that the United Kingdom has to offer in pursuit of the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

Trent Seven
Distinguished yet dangerous, Trent Seven is like a character from the underworld of a Guy Ritchie film. His debonair appearance and charming manner of speech belie his gritty, hard-nosed approach to the ring. It’s that same competitive spirit that made Seven one of the United Kingdom’s top grapplers in the first place.  After spending years collecting titles in the British independent scene, Seven landed on the radar of the WWE Universe during the WWE UK Championship Tournament in January 2017. Though he fell short of claiming the UK crown, The Don’s intelligent, hard-hitting offense made everyone take notice. A bastion of British Strong Style — an exciting, post-modern take on classic English wrestling traditions — Seven has since made frequent appearances in NXT, often teaming with fellow British Strong Style proponent Tyler Bate as Moustache Mountain.  As clever a Superstar as you’ll find, Seven has the wits to take down opponents twice his size. His ferocious finisher, the Seven Stars Lariat, is just the icing on the cake.  Now as a member of the NXT UK roster, Seven has made it clear that he and Tyler Bate are ready to take on the best tag teams that the United Kingdom has to offer in pursuit of the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.
